What a time I've had since last update and general posting on my Neocities feed. While I absolutely do have a number of health concerns that are (not really) out of the blue, things could be worse and definitely aren't as bad as they sounded to be - to me initially, and to all I shared with. I definitely am experiencing a great deal of pain and getting around is quite literally a pain in the ass - and elsehwhere, mobility has improved as a result of simply doing morning stretches and fat old man yoga three times a week. I've only done yoga three times and have done five mornings of stretches and shit is making a world of difference. I still need to work on my diet, blood sugar levels were way bad last test. But pain is slowly subsiding. All this to say, I am still not feeling well enough to walk or stand for prolonged periods of time, and managed to convince my employer to let me work from home - but not without a fight and doctor's note. All this to say, take care of yourself and your body. You only get one attempt at this thing called life. All of this to also say that the American healthcare and insurance systems are a straight up joke. This is not to say that the healthcare workers are a joke, they absolutely are not 99.9% of the time. But the system? Fucking whack, fam.
I have had a lot of life-affirming and transformative experiences to music and by way of elevation of one sort or another since I last, update, as well. Still - and more - painfully aware of what an absolutely messed up world we've created for ourselves and the illusion of "career" and "normal life" and all that shit. I don't know... The wind and leaves were amazing tonight, though.
