Christmas and shit is officially over and life as normal has resumed once more. Thank fuck.

Going back to the office after a week from home was underwhelming and slow and boring as all fuckin' hell. But it was nice to get outta the house and see at least a couple of people I don't hate and/or who I genuinely enjoy as humans. Which is odd. Never thought I'd form that kind of relationship with someone at the workplace again. Wild.

Caught up with a homie in a different part of the country over the holidays. Not like we don't talk semi-frequently, but it was a nice for real catchup sesh. Was great. Used to go paiting graffiti with him whenever he would come to town for raves in the 90s and early 00s. He'd come up a day before, we'd go out writing that night. Then rave day/night. Then a day of day drinking and smoking and blackbook sessions. Some of the best days of my life, if I'm being honest. At any rate, as a result of connecting on the level we did I've decided to start working on losing weight and getting in shape by summer so we can go out writing together again, since he - after over a decade - finally lives just within a couple hours once more.

As such, and being that I don't want to sign up for yet another thing - especially after getting off of most of the things - I am going to document my daily food intake and any noteworthy shit about exercise and such. I refuse to turn into an obsessed health nut, but a little accountability is always good. Being that I'm addicted to this website and mainting it and adding to it as I am, seemed to make the most sense to use this space, especially the journal, for such things.
