You know those scenes in movies where there's a high speed car chase in a neighborhood and a car whips around a corner and skids all crazylike and shortly after that three or four cop cars come whizzing by the same intersection from various directions? And then the car that's being chased comes back from the opposite direction down an alley and bottoms out and kicks up a bunch of dirt and debris as it crosses the main street? And invariably, someone is about to cross the alley on the sidewalk while just walking from one place to another and they almost get hit?

I got to see that in real life today and I was the person who almost got hit by the car being pursued.

Add that to the list of crazy stuff I've seen with my own two eyes and the ways in which I've almost lost my life.
