PETS

On paper it sounds silly. An online pet for your website. But I think it's cute and hearatwarming. So I have adopted a few and if I see some others I like, I will be sure to adopt them as well.

PIXELS

As a visual artist who specializes in hyper detailed work, pixel art has always been intriguing to me, as I am simply incapable of doing simple designs or pieces and having them read well. Pixel art is truly an artform and not one evereyone can manage to accomplish effectively. I especially like the smaller scale so-called "sprite" types of pixel art. When I see ones I like or that speak to me on a personal level, they will show up here with the rest of these ones.

BLINKIES

A resurrected relic or one kept on life support all this time, you decide. While glitter and blinking shit really isn't my jam, as a person, there's something about them on personal websites that I am absolutely drawn to. Especially the more quirky ones.

88x31 BUTTONS

I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about how things become standardized. As an early web participant, the 88x31 button is one of those things. Here is an ever growing collection of them, because I still think they're neat and (some) people are (still) making them.

STAMPS

I can't put my finger on what it is, specifically, I love about stamps like this. There's definitely some nostalgia involved, but it's more and/or deeper than that, in a place I can't quite access. At least right now.

AWARDS

Website awards are very much and early/old web phenomenon and I love seeing them here on Neocities. I will collect my awards here, with my other collections. How fitting is it that my first awards are from Nostalgic?

AVATARS

Neocities and rel;ated websites before it had all kinds of names for these types of things. I like avatars. As I find fun, interesting, and unique places to make an avatar, I will use the tools available with it to make the most accurate-to-me avatr possible and collect them here.

TEENY TOWERS

I don't know why this appeals to me so much, but it does. Dabbling in pixel art and nostalgia for old web = Teeny Towers aka match made in heaven.
